[Luleå - Sweden, 08 June 2009] -- During the month of June, NATO NRF forces deployed to Luleå airbase, Northern Sweden, for a two-week intense battle over the sparsely populated Lapland area. During this exercise participants had the opportunity to cross swords with their PfP allies of Sweden and Finland, which were involved in the exercise with their international units of SE 02/JAS 39C/D Gripens, coming from Ronneby's 171. Squadron, and Finnish Rapid Deployment Force/Fighter Squadron (FRDF/FS) F/A-18C/Ds, which are drawn of alle three Finnish fighter wings.
